    Next up.

Good old Des Gough is opening up a chipper next to McCormacks.

The development will consist of change of use of the existing two ground floor retail gift shops into a single fast food takeaway outlet, large seating area, minor alterations to the existing front elevation and associated site works.

According to the FSAI site a Closure Order is given on the following grounds:
    FSAI wrote:
    Closure Order
It is issued if in the opinion of the authorised officer, there is or there is likely to be a grave and immediate danger to public health at/or in the food premises. Closures Orders can refer to the immediate closure of all or part of the food premises, or all or some of its activities. The Orders may be lifted when the premises has improved to the satisfaction of the authorised officer. Failure to comply with an Improvement Order may also result in the issuing of a Closure Order.

The sign in the window says "due to unexplained circumstances". :D

On another note there is a new store opening where the headshop was beside the shoe box. Sign went up this morning along with a Halal certified sign.

I'd say it was explained quite clearly to them! Maybe someone else should put a sign on the window to clarify :D

There were 3 staff members in there yesterday scrubbing the place out. Paying particular attention to the kebab rotary.
