Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Poster style comp group shot.. help!

As a bit of a summer project I was thinking of producing a poster style comp group shot a bit like this:

I would imagine the characters are shot seperately and comped together afterwards with PP? My plan is to shoot essentially a group of people individually and create a moody, composite final image.

So far I'm thinking shooting on an easily masked background prob using an umbrella'd strobe and some on-axis fill. Something simple that is easily reproducable and with no use of ambient to ensure consistency.

    Any technique suggestions?

I know the Maccabees' (band) shoots were done with the camera on a tripod and then each member was shot individually in different areas of the frame and then the photographer just edited the best four poses onto one final image. I'll see if I can find said pic. Though that was just from the hips up...

Shoot using a green background makes the cutting and comping out much easier

Cheers Tom. You know you're in there anyway, but if you want to help out with the photography side you're more than welcome!
