I work as a Personal Shopper so I tend to carry my business cards..cause you just never know when someone will over hear you giving advice!
My notebook
My iphone
A lippy
A small container of make up...just incase
A pen
My wallet
My umbrella
A pashmina/scarf...just incase

I have a large purple backback (about the limit for air travel size) - in it I normally carry:

• medicines (insulin, glucagon, blood testing kit, suggary drink(s) - am a type 1 diabetic, soluble paracetamol, gavascon, cold remedies, plastic bags, tissues, antihistamine)
• sanitary towels
• radio
• DS lite and 2-3 games
• umbrella
• wallet
• keys
• makeup (lipsticks, lip lock, eyeshaddow (for the mirror, I don't tend to wear it), mascara)
• book on GI of foods
• sometimes I carry another book, it depends.
• special keyring
• a small (wallet size) photo album with some of my wedding photos
• hand sanitizer

It does not look like I carry a lot from the above but my bag can get rather heavy. If I did not have my medicines my bag would be tiny.

I used to be like this a few years ago putting everything into my pockets. I used to hate bags when I was 20/21 and swore that I'd never own a handbag but now I love my bags.

My Work handbag will always include:

Phone,
Earphones,
Wallet,
Lunch box,
Manicure set,
Magifying mirror,
Hairbands,
Tampons & pads
Pens, paper and receipts.
Pocket in bag for trash.
Sun lotion (only started to put this in this week).

Sometimes I'd also have:
Vitamins,
Rescue remedy
Hand lotion.
Psp, charger and games.

Bought a lovely small handbag yesterday for going away next weekend. Could be used for going out too.

I filled it up to see what I could fit in:

I was looking for a small bag, and now I think its too small.

I adore big big bags, always recieve a big bag as a present but always told it's like mary poppins lol. Wow I didn't realise I carry so much crap around with me til I just listed it. Oops but they're all essentials. I clean my handbag out every week,but it always has all the above in it, the following spring cleaning week!!

God I have hardly anything in comparison to everyone else! Usually it's just phone, purse and keys. And sometimes tissues, bits of make-up, sunglasses/umbrella or whatever.

It's funny because I'm quite high-maintenance for most things!
