Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Inspired by the recent water droplet post on strobist, I set about taking this this afternoon. I just got my first set of radio triggers the other day, and this is my first real attempt at anything using off camera flash.

I was quite happy with how it turned out, but would appreciate any comments (good or bad) anyone would like to make!

There are a few more similar shots in this Flickr set if anyone is interested in a look - i can't decide which one I like best :)

I quite like this and would like to see a bigger version, only fault that stands out straight away is the crop to the top and right is too tight.
Maybe a bit more light too.

In fact would love to see your mk II version.

I think if you could clone out the coffee drops on the side of the cup it would improve it a lot

I agree, it's first thing that jumped out at me but still a nice shot

Thanks for the feedback guys - There are a few "cleaner" shots in the Flickr set. This was a bit later in the shoot :)

I actually kind of like the messiness of this one!

Cool. How about trying a "pour" shot or maybe something with the suger, cubes dropping in and making a splash
