    Im an eejit haha,

    here it is

Had a flick through (I'll listen properly later) and it sounds pretty cool. Good variety which is good and nice beats. And hey, I used that "what is underground" vocal sample on a deep house track a while back! :)

Nice work. Good flow to the tracks and a common theme throughout. My favs are Track 2 untitled and Closed Eyes.
Can I ask how you generated the piano in Dark floiw, synth or sampler?

all using the grand piano that comes with ableton, i believe it uses samples. no way a synth could get such a close sound...in future i hope just to play live instruments for those parts myself

Track 2 seems to get the best response from people, haha its one of my least favourites aswell

Good track, i feel with those builds, something different could happen for the drop, like making the synth sound abit different or something...im abit out of touch with that genre at the moment but its a really well done track, everything is balanced really well.

Nice intro, straight to the point. Good selection on the percussion you used, it helps the track out a lot. The bass is really nice! I can't judge low frequencies based off of my monitors through listening really, but the vibrations from the woofers told me; there's either to much low end or the bass is to loud haha. The transition to the break at 1:30 really stood out for me, it's a bit sudden, you could try dropping the kick or percussion out for a few beats to make the transition seem more natural to the listener. Great work on the atmosphere you've created; mysterious euphoric vibes throughout. Solid structure, good stuff man! (Y)

Nice intro and all the overall track sounds nice and tight. That bassline reminds a lot of this

I think there's a bit of overuse of white noise at time but overall a decent track with good arrangment

Nice progressive vibe here. I like that heavy reverb hit and the vocal sample is cool as well. Main arpeggiation could maybe be varied slightly more. That extra melody at 2.33 caught me off guard a bit as did the dub wobble. In terms of production it sounds pretty tight. Lower frequencies seem ok to me

That's the track my original inspiration came from for the bassline itself! You've good ears dude. Nice spot on the white noise, sort of just realised that myself now, thank you! :D

The percussion on your track reminded me of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe9YKGhe-SU

Overall it's mixed well, would of liked a bit more of build up in the intro, slightly structure the track a bit different maybe. Goes a bit mad at the end and sounds like it go well in a club environment for that genre

The genre of the song wouldn't be my thing really, intro put me off a little until the synths came in. It's well mixed and structured very well, nice rises and falls. I quite like the spacey/alien type synth in it. Kick sounds a bit clicky to me, imo I'd cut out some of the high end.

This 7 months old now, but I kind of uploaded it and forgot about it. Going for a chill, garagey vibe. Think Disclosure but less appropriate for a club setting. I'd love if someone could listen and give feedback. Cheers.

Nice track man. It has a nice sunday morning vibe to it. Only thing that I would criticise would be the kick. Maybe it's me but I don't think it suits the track. It needs to be more louder or needs more of a punch. The kick hit seems a bit short and feels like there's a gate on it knocking off the good stuff.

Yeah, very nice. Love the pads that come in during the break and nice vocal as well. I agree with Keith regarding the kick. It's just a bit lost in tthe mix. I think the open hat could do with bringing out the higher frequencies a bit more as well.

    Hi folks,

My mate Rob is beginning to put up tracks he's produced of late. He doesnt have the post count to stick em up yet.

    He'd appreciate any comments.

Romel The Noisemaker - Do It! (Original mix)

I'll shoot up a set he's up in the other thread.

    cheers.

Hey. Sounds pretty good. Bassline a little muddy perhaps but nice strong kick and hats. Snare could maybe be brightened a little. Personally regarding the track overall, it really needs a melody. To me it just kinda sounded like a drum loop.

I like this. Nice chugging percussion and it sounds pretty well mixed. I think the moaning is overdone a bit though. Also that distorted vocal hit sounds off (timing wise) to me. I think it would be better coming in on the last beat. I like the overall arrangement although maybe the introduction of another synth element might be nice. Just some higher frequency hits or something, nothing too dramatic.

Cool track, I love drum and bass myself. Maybe some horrible bass stabs or a lush pad could go well with it to. Kick sounds lovely!

Thanks. I usually use soundcloud just for single track uploads but it never works 100% and is full of spam followers and spam messages. The only reason I used bandcamp was it looked more professional and I'm basically using it as a portfolio to send to people, production companies and the like. Atm I would say bandcamp is better, a lot less spam and a lot of stats about your music is free to see were as soundcloud makes you pay to see stats. Bandcamp also gives you more downloads for free.

Nicely atmospheric. More of a soundscape than a typical track I suppose.

thanks for that feedback. yes i always have the impression with soundcloud that I can just throw a track up. whereas with bandcamp it has a vibe of...finished product about it. you're bang on about the spam followers etc. on the other hand i find soundcloud has been good for long-form mixes and stuff like that.
