This is good. Very nice vocals and some really good drums, but on every 4th beat it sounds like a beat is out of sync, I'm not sure if that's deliberate?

Nice break as well and just a nice chilled out vibe though that out of sync beat is a bit off-putting - sorry!

Don't like the drums *at all*. Don't know what it is about them but they just sound off. I imagine that being hard to dance to.(Drummer of 18 years experience here btw)

I like the vocal sample - the elec piano needs to be brightened up and pulled back slightly in the mix.

Cheers for the feedback. The forth beat on the kick is slightly out of sync and some of the hi hats, is that it? I've changed a lot of the track since I put up the preview, mostly mixing.
Skyking when you say they sound off, do you mean out of sync or you think they just don't work?

Hiya keith - I can't say what it is about it - I am sorry I can't be of more help - but they just don't feel right - something about the timing - something subtle. Maybe I am talking shyte :)

Anyone else agree? It could be the fourth kick out of time or something is throwing me off.

I think it is - it all sounds fine but every 4th beat is off and it sort of throws the rest of it out. It's almost as if a DJ is crunching the mix a little. The hi-hats aren't so bad but the kick doesn't really work - it's too big a sound and sticks out too much.

Cheers lads. I'll try out some different kicks and see how it goes.

To me it doesn't sound like the fourth kick is off but rather like there is a ghost kick playing just before it, which makes it sound off.
Regarding the track itself, it works pretty well. Wouldn't be a massive fan of the sound of the bassline even if it does suit that style.

snare/clap thing sounds strange, but maybe youre going for that, but its too strong in the mix or not reverbed enough or something.
its abit muddy, could master the lower ends abit better, some more crisp vocals would sound class with all that bass going on though

    nice mix though

    Nah man,

I've posted some tracks before and got some good feedback. I'm kinda new with producing house music since i just started producing house/dance tracks for a year now.

This is the only forum where i post new productions.

I'd posted feedback on a couple of tracks earlier today but the posts seem to be gone
I think boards may have had a server issue earlier so maybe the latest posts have been lost. If they're not back up tomorrow I'll re-post my comments.

I like it.; The high hats are a bit high in the mix and sound a bit harsh. Nice fun track though. Sounds quite rough in places but thats the nature of these remix jobs innit!?

Nice vibe. I like it. If it were me I would slow down the tempo of it a bit, as that will make it feel deeper and more chilled. Personal taste point here : The clap / snare sounds a bit low quality / dull sounding in my own opinion - I would brighten that up, maybe even replace it with a clickey sound or a woodblock etc.

I really like this. Nice deep bassline and atmospheric vocal samples.
I think you could probaly sidechain the bass to the kick a tiny bit just to let the kick peek through a bit more.
The little bell-like sample at 0.36 and again later on in the track doesn't work at all IMO.
But yeah, thumbs up for me overall. I'd have this on my bus journey playlist :)

Good disco groove. The snare/clap is a bit prominent for me.
The one thing I don't like though is the vocal (apart from the chorus which is great). It just doesn't seem to fit in tempo wise. The hh is a bit dirty sounding as well, but maybe that's intentional.
The filter automations are sweet throughout.

Both good productions, even though I wouldn't be into the style too much.
The first track has a deeper synth that mirrors the main stabs around halfway in. I'm not sure this works completely as it it feels a bit too gritty for the vibe of the track.

Love the intro, not sure about the bassline though. Vocals work very well. I think it needs a little more variety, perhaps in the drums though this could be what you're going for.

These are both very good. Very well produced, nice and crisp. Really professional sounding with some excellent vocal work.

Are you signed up to a label at all as I'd imagine this sort of well produced house would get lots of plays in clubs.

Again another really good tune, though I'm personally not that keen on the main vocal in places where it's just a bit too much, same as mordeith really. Outside of this it's really good though and I could easily imagine it being enjoyed in clubs.

Quality! Seriously, this is really good. I'm not listening to it on my proper headphones and it sounds a little bass heavy but I'll confirm later this evening. Love the break around 2 minutes and the drum work when the beat comes back in is excellent.

    Very, very impressive.

Ok, my turn - more 'old skool' progressive house with some breaks thrown as well ;)

Thanks for the feedback. I understand what you mean with the synth. I wanted to put that synth more to the background. I can try 2 put a filter on it too take that gritty sound a bit away

No i'm not signed to a label. I don't think that i'm already on that kind of level.

Sounds really smooth and professional. I'm not really a fan of long intro's. But i know that it's normal with progressive house. I would throw a high synth in the song for variation. But that's just an opinion of flavour.

Sounds really good especially the middle part, where the beat changes.

    Good job
