    How Quickly Can Fortune Change?
Peter Eastgate was staring at just 8 big blinds about an hour ago, but he's now gone on a great run. First, he was all in on a 10c.gif5d.gif2h.gif6h.gif board with 6c.gif5c.gif against the Js.gif10d.gif of the big blind. Eastegate housed up on the 6s.gif river to put him up to 87,000.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,905 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

    Continued from above.......

Then he eliminated a short stack with As.gifKh.gif against Ks.gifQs.gif after a Ah.gif3h.gif5h.gif6h.gif8d.gif board. From 8,000 to 100,000 in next to no time - That's how the World Champion rolls...

walked down around the rio with about 90mins of the last level, Eastgate looked floored, some comeback, devil fish is another who looked on life support and I see he has also pulled the lazarus.

Don Fagan was sitting on Iveys left with a circa 80k stack at that stage

Can anyone confirm if Michael O'Sullivan reported to be on 140K is Mick from cork or another Irishman?

I don't think they're related. Eric is a former pro ice hockey player.

Filippi Loses Minimum with QQ vs KK vs AA
Amnon Filippi raised to 1,775, next to act raised to 4,300 before a player in late position made it 13,500 to go. The table quickly folded back to Filippi who gave a wry smirk and quickly folded.

The action was then raised to 29,000 before the late position player moved all in for an additional 50,000. Incredibly the first player folded KdKs face up and his opponent flashed AdAs.

A great fold, but Filippi was ecstatic as he claimed to have folded pocket queens and it only cost 1,775 in chips!

why would you show the aces here???

but if the other guy folded kings he must already have had a seriously tight image so presumably unnecessary. my point is the guy who folded the kings would be steaming if you didn't show

Interesting table draws there. Albert has Michael Greco and Steve Devlin has Adam Junglen on his table. Can't to see how the lads get on. Best of luck guys and please have some good news for me to read in the morning.
