at least he was eliminated by a legend.

We picked this hand up on the turn with a board of 9c.gif5h.gifqh.gif7c.gif.

Michael Graydon checked the action to Phil Ivey who moved all in. Graydon made the call for his last 106,000 and showed da.gif9d.gif for second pair, putting him way behind Ivey's kd.gifkc.gif.

When the river brought the 7s.gif, Graydon found no help and made his way to the rail. Ivey has now joined the million chip club.

Unlucky Al, you've plenty of years ahead to get a deep result, say you'll gain alot from this year. Ul mick aswell, i cant imagine getting away from pair vs ivey if he's putting the pressure on. Both you lads are quality

Hard luck Mick. But you cashed and at least you went out to a legend of the game. I know it must be tough at this stage having put so much effort in but as said you have years ahead of you and the game to go very deep in these big tourneys.

strikes me that there are more big name players left than usual at this stage of the tournie, does anyone else think that? I remember being pretty bored in the closing stages of last years game because all of the better known players seemed to have busted

still a long to go before ft. Hopefully 2 or 3 make it though. Like to see hellmuth there for entertainment value :)

Helmuth gone. Aces cracked by J10 and 89 I think. But players of the calibre of Ivey and Elky with big stacks, the two Trans, Black, Harrington, Sexton, Saul, Esfandiari all with decent stacks, plus any amount of good internet players who've prob remained under the radar, you'd expect someone to go deep.

    Ul lads and good showing.

Other well known people that were missed in other posts are cts and di dang. Couple of other very big names missed out on in other posts that are still alive too.

I was just thinking that myself. Great to see Andy Black going deep(ish) again, hopefully he''ll make it down to the last few tables at least. There were some excellent clashes between himself and Ivey a few years back the year he FT'ed.

There always is at this point. It is still likely that we don't get a big name at the FT.

One with ivey and jc tran will se me happy. Not a lot to ask for :D

FT will be JC Tran, Kenny Tran, Elky, Cts, Benyamine, Ivey, Hachem, Esfandiari, Mizzi and Nicky Power imo.

Actually no, put in Action Dan instead of Hachem, hes a tosspot.

ill clear things up, albert kenny goes out 14 places before the money, albert is really sick at the moment, played ace jack from under the gun with 14 players left to go with 115k when blinds were 2-4k, should never have been involved in the hand to begin with, turns out the hand was a bit of a cooler me having top set against 9s full, with 12k left on the button i **** with ace 2 get called by 10 7 and funny enough if i win this hand i fold to the money, he hits a 7 on the river and just the worst feeling in the world came inside me. that was the last hand before the break and straight after the first break they went straight into hand for hand and after like 4 hands they were only 3 away from the cash, as sick as i felt after the aj hand the a2 v 10 7 was actually worse.

I'd be playing more hands, UTG not less in that tournament on the bubble tbh.

    Just a sick cooler. HL.
