    Jacks on the Bubble
We actually lost three players on the last hand before the money.

Chris Cooke was one of those unfortunate bubble boys. Jeffrey Vanchiro opened with a raise from the button, and Cooke was in the unenviable position of looking down at from the small blind. He moved all in for about 21,000, and Vanchiro called him down with .

The first four cards were safe, but the on the river was all she wrote for Cooke. It looks like he and the two other bubblers will split the bottom two payout spots.

    Unlucky

I didn't even split the money....:(...Played immaculate poker yesterday for 12 hours....Played perfect today...slowed evrything down etc...etc...folded JJ 3 times in different situations today....Vanchiro has been raising for fun...just running over everyone...

I 3 bet him twice and he folded....This time he rasies I push JJ..

I figure he's calling with any pair...even less they way he was trash talking at table....Alas he calls with A9o....

Flop is 6h4h2h....I have Jh....He's no heart...brick turn black fcukin A on river....

The sick thing is if someone said will you fold JJ for 3k, I'll probably fold....Maybe I should have flatted and pushed flop...I dunno....

    Vomit....!

pretty sick today, not a whole lot i could do with my chip stack in relation to the blinds, with blinds at 8 and 16k with 2k ante there was over 40k out there every hand and haven started the day with 280k all i neeed was a double up and i was flying. after the blinds just went through me on the second orbit a table broke and we re drew for seats which i couldnt understand why, (at 18 it was to be done again) got redrawn straight back into the big blind and before i knew it id already dropped 60k two more hands later. stacks on the table were deep and the table looked to be playing fairly aggressive and not been able to pick up a a hand i just looked to try get my chips in the middle with pretty much any two cards when folded to me in cut off or button, 8 6 looked like the nuts and unfortunately for me the bb woke up with aq, thought today was the day, oh well still a nice touch i guess, roll on the main event.

    Nice one Noel.

    Donnacha O'Dea Eliminated in 26th Place ($14,967)

Donnacha O'Dea raised and then Darryl Ronconi reraised. Alex Millar then shoved all in and only O'Dea made the call. O'Dea held pocket rockets, as.gifda.gif, and was ahead of Millar's jacks, jc.gifjs.gif.

The flop came down 6s.gif5h.gif2d.gif. The turn is where the excitement happened though, when the jh.gif hit the felt to put Millar in the lead. The river was the 10c.gif and O'Dea couldn't pull it back. He was eliminated in 26th place while Millar moved up to 730,000.

Carsten Joh wins the 1500 event, he is a really nice guy, met him a few times. He final tabled the Irish Open 2008 and had a decently deep run this year also - deffo finishing in the money and I am pretty sure he was the 3rd or 4th last Sole Survivor.

On the topic of Soul Survivor, Mika Pasonnen who finished runner up in the Soul Survivor also finished 2nd in a $2k event earlier in the series.

    David Bach
    8,625,000

    John Hanson
    5,105,000

Omaha-8 John Hanson raised the button and David Bach re-raised and made it three bets to go from the small blind. Erik Sagstrom made the call from the big blind as did Hanson as all three players saw a flop of (7h) (6s) (Kc). Play checked to Hanson who fired a bet. Bach made the call before Sagstrom moved all in for an additional 75,000. Hanson then announced a re-raise to a total of 225,000. Bach made the call as a side pot developed. The turn card was the (Js) and Bach checked to Hanson who fired once again into the side pot. Bach made the call. The river brought the (Ks) and both checked it down. Hanson tabled 8s-8c-X-X for the best hand as both opponents mucked their cards. Hanson scooped and Sagstrom is sent to the rail in 3rd place for a handsome pay day of $522,394.
