    How does the college grading system work,

    what does a second class honours and all them mean

    1.1 70% - 100% (First Class Honours)
    2.1 60% - 69% (Second Class Honours Grade 1)
    2.2 50% - 59% (Second Class Honours Grade 2)
    3.0 40% - 49% (Pass)
    Fail < 40% (Fail)

    That's pretty much it in

    Does each college grads differently or something? cos in my college a 2.2 was 55-59

    Yeah some colleges are different.

    I'm in DCU and they only changed the results to this format
    a few years ago.

    It was changed in 2008, the year I graduated, thank GOD!
    They're trying to standardise it across the EU. I know UCD use the same system too.
