    I did a search but I can't find a thread here that answers my question!

    I want to open ports for Xbox Live on my Netgear Router but I dont know how to get to the router homepage.
    I tried 192.168.0.1 and it didn't work. I'm on UPC.

    What do I type in?

    Just look for your gateway address and that is the router address too, noramlly http://192.168.1.1 for the netgear iirc.

    Just a reminder to all those people with Netger routers that the manual for each model is normally available for download from the netgear site - for example:

    Shhhh, I have not told anybody yet!!! And yes as the_pale_45 ;) says manuals are mostly available on-line form the manufacturers website.
