Not really the same as putting on 30/40 lbs of muscle in 16 weeks. If that was done in the 16 weeks before a competition you have to assume he put it on with minimal fat gain.

i know, i was just trying to show that they are not normal and can do things that dont seem possible with their bodies

    also, watch this everyone..

I read before that he could bicep curl 100kg dumbells for reps with proper form . His ability in training and propensity to pack on mass has become the stuff of legend.

Hah I was gonna say where does one even find 100+kg 'bells!!

I actually know someone who does seated hammer curls with 37.5kg 'bells for a good number of reps, and they're not all that sloppy either!!

    Levrone for Mr. O 2009!

Seriously though, it's already been impressive and looks like it will turn out to be quite a transformation. Not that he was all that small to begin with.

    Crazy Man...

His arms and shoulders are looking scarily huge.

Keep in mind he's probably pumped to bits, his pose and the lighting is more favourable. But all that aside, he's looking fcuking sick.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

I'm sure he is, but even so in a few more weeks his arms will be close to the same size as my legs. :(

I have to say I am not really impressed by the changes. It looks like a before and after a single workout, he is in incredible shape before he started this. He is pumped, flexing and in better light but I don't think he has changed much at all. I think in the week 4 pic his head is also slightly bigger, it's slightly more zoomed in than the starting pic. Don't get me wrong he looks great but he was already great at the start.

Good example below, photos aren't doctored and photo's were taken within 2 minutes of each other!
