Hey all, I'm a 17yr old leaving cert from sligo looking to move to galway straight after the exams. I'm looking for a 1 bed flat or shared accomodation, no more than 300 a month.
Whats the best way to go about this? All the sites i've tried say "no students" :(
Wheres the best area to go for? Im starting a physics course in NUIG in september but i want to keep away from the student villages coz im not much of a party animal lol
    Thanks :D

Try newcastle, estates such as laural park, hazel park are pure student estates. I was in glen dara, which is an absolute dump, moved to laural park, 50 euro a week for the summer in a nice house with two others.

dont plan on moving immediatly after work, u need time to check the place out. Get the galway advertiser, it has the listings, its a renters market so you can afford to be a bit picky

    As above use daft.ie
When it comes to areas, most are good and you should probably look at Newcastle Rd or Shantalla for closeness. Prices are not very high.
I think Advertiser has an area map in the paper edition.
