Hi i was just wondering how do people on here do exterior "uplighting" . We have done some at work before but had minor problems with them regarding earth leakage.Just looking for tips really Thanks

for the gu-10 i feed the lighting circuit through an rcbo. wire the bases with conduit and flex. on the 2nd fix connect up fittings and seal the glands and covers and push them into the bases.i haven't fitted any metal halide types.the fitting itself needs to be watertight anyhow.the problems seem to arise when the fitting itself 'screws' onto the base and then the lid doesn't fit properly
