If the BNP's policy was "Britain can't handle unlimited amounts of people coming in - from any country outside the EU, not just the poor, war-torn, non-white, non-English speaking ones - and while it should do its best to provide haven for those fleeing oppression and terror, it simply can't operate a policy of letting every single person in" then yeah, fair points.

Its policy is nothing like that though - it simply doesn't like outsiders... by its own admission.

Ok, the rest was rambling nonsense, but this...

Firstly there is no such thing as freedom of speech on the internet. None. And definitely not on boards.

second, *if* there were free speech, that wouldn't change a damn thing. You could say whatever you feel like, but in doing so you give other people the same right to comment in whatever manner they feel like on your opinions.

"Abloo Abloo where mah freedom of speech?" is usually the first port of call after someones precious but poorly thought out opinions have just been torn to shreds.

nobody is stopping you from saying these things, they're saying that those things are stupid.

What about native Dutch people fleeing their own country because the saturation of the lands because of fleeing muslim populations has made them feel uneasy in the own country?
    That can't happen!

No I didn't. If I believed that I'd have said it straight. For the record I don't think that is true, but I have no idea why you raise it anyway.

well i mean come on.. there's people on this site attacking people because they're right wing; while the same lefties attack people because they're young or use text speak! I mean that's a bit ironic, your defending a different race and being ageist against people at the same time!.

have to do with your claim that you've seen the 'problems' that were going to have.

Your fucking opinions are not sacred, and people calling you on unsubstantiated claims is not intolerance.

You're not exactly a shining example of decourm, you've done nothing but whine about "the liberal-left" and paint them as short term myopic fools bent on destorying us all, all garnished with a hint of islamophobia.

You're credibility is pretty fucking low as it stands, try making actual points instead of trying to pedal fear and mistrust.

yeah, im talking to the "average to above average" IQ Irish person, on boards.ie which generally has a politically correct clan of people who stand up for each other.
I am not even bothered to argue because whats the point with you people?

You're not the average person anyway. Most people are out enjoying themselves now, which is what I'm going to do now.
So enjoy getting bad posture on your computer chairs, taking turns at ranting insults at someone because they have a different view.
Nobody agreed to anything I've said which I find hard to believe, you just disliked me totally and ranted negatively against everything I said which is as interesting as it gets here.

Holland and Germany are much nicer and have nicer people(natives) in everyway, than Ireland.

I'd never go so far as to ban the BNP, that'd do more harm than possible good. The harsh light of public life will be an anathema to the BNP and parties like them.

i just can't fathom how anyone can look at a party who's core theme is "fuck anyone who's not like us" and go "sign me the fuck up"

I spent a bit of time in London during the late 1980s / early 1990s.

On a couple of occasions I was subjected to verbal and near-physical abuse by known BNP / NF members.

Why? Because I was Irish. No other reason.

The tolerance for those BNP f*ckers on this thread - by Irish people - astounds me.

Once while walking up a steet in Luton a car with four Asians once drove past me, one bloke spat on me and called me white trash, I think it was cromwell raod now that i remember.

I doubt three quaters of the people in this thread understand how much black people in England dispise Asians and like wise.

We - would be people on this thread who have registered our dislike of the BNP and it's policies and those who support them

Them, in this case, would be parties with ideologies like the BNP, so to a lesser degree UKIP.

But them, is a party like the BNP but not the people who voted for them or people who would be those who have registered their like for the party?

I find the BNP to be nothing more then a clan of racist cnuts, who are just fanning the flames of hate by using the Recession as a way to bring their party into full gear. Just remember this is how Adolf Hitler came to power as well, and look how bad that turned out to be. Perhaps the left-wingers here might turn to themselves and ask what has turned people onto the BNP? Or maybe some soul-searching is needed among liberals? Do you represent normal, everyday people or do you assume you do because your opinions chime with the acceptable line?

Maybe, just maybe, your worldview has negative effects in communities you view as chav-invested? Maybe your worldview is not really in the interests of the people?

Does this even occur to the liberal-left?

My guess is no. Too busy foaming at the mouth & either throwing eggs or cheering it on to bother with so much as a nano second of personal reflection on the reasons behind these results (eu wide results or the uk in particular). Probably working out how to make 'dey turk our jerbs' sound funny again while continuing to miss the irony of it.

I think some people find it less complicated to dismiss all of the eu hard right voters as knuckle draggers, intellectually challenged etc then go back to living in the comfort of glib denial. It's an attitude that kind of reminds me a little bit of the greens before the election. 'Problem, whats that you say problem ??'

I'm not saying we don't have it here either, it's standard politics to use the misgivens of people as a way of gaining the upperhand. but I'm just saying, people should be weary of what they're voting for because anger leads to hate, and hate leads to death and the BNP are using anger and hate to implement their views into society. If the BNP can win 2 seats in the European Parliment, then that means they could win more if another elections comes around.
