Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Post up the details and you'll get an idea from the lads here that are in the trade

I'm afraid it doesn't really work like that - the car's worth what someone's prepared to pay for it. Have you looked on Carzone to see what's being asked for similar cars? Bear in mind that all cars on carzone are as yet unsold.

I think a bit of T-Cut would work wonders on making that car look a bit more attractive. Other than that, though, I really can't see it's being worth over €1,000. Some of the lads in the trade might give you a better idea.

    +1

A couple of hours polishing will make it infinitely more sellable than it is in that state.

Should come up as good as new with a little t-cut and a decent polish

This may not be what you want to hear, but I doubt that the mainstream trade buyers would have any interest in a 95 car. Too old to retail, and potential warranty issues (however it is a Honda which helps).

I'd drop the price and advertise on buy and sell, as well as adverts.ie.

Actually the biggest improvement you could make to it is to get a new NCT. You can test it before it runs out, if you can manage to get an appointment.

As it is you will never sell it for that price - as suggested do something with the paintwork and sort the NCT- you should get 1,500 for it then

I personally think €1500 is asking way too much..
if I was to buy a car of that year and in that condition... I would expect to pay no more than €500 for it,... but put a bit of time and effort into it and you would get more.. maybe up to €800
as said, you need to sort out the paint... cut it back and give it a good polishing... get the NCt sorted... no pics of the inside, but you will want that absolutley shining when a potential buyers comes to view... target your buyers... local free ads newspapers? buy and sell? possibley ebay it?
not what you want to hear but thats the way I see it... good luck in selling it.

In it's current state if anyone makes you a serious offer of close to €1000, bite their hand off and take it.

Otherwise spend a little money and some decent time on restoring that faded paint work.

Thats a €500 euro car imo

There defo worth more than that , its a rare enough car that should appeal to the younger market if it was brought up to scratch.

Lads - its a 14 year old car with 93000miles on it. It needs in the region of 300-400 euros of work done to it (CV Boot, window regulator).

Thats a €500-600 motor, but only to someone who is willing to spend another few hundred quid on it to get it up to scratch.
