I've visited Jimmy on 2 occasions with chronic headaches. He cleared a few blockages which he said was causing my problem. It made no difference whatsoever. Having said that I know he has improved the quality of life of many people but he's not for me.

I don't have a problem with anybody using alternative medicines. As long as they retain some type of sense(even deep down) and realise that the whole thing is an exercise in self Placation.
Problem is many people get carried away and believe in all kinds of nonsense despite all the evidence to contrary.
As the father of a nine week old baby I fully understand the concerns of parents can lead them to worry unnecessarily. In these cases I often think the "treatment" has far more to do with appeasing the parents worries than the health of the child.

hi im just looking for a faith healer, im wandering if you have to have an underlined illness to go to a faith healer? you see i have a very low B12 count on which i have injections for.. but i personally think dre is something else wrong with me.. hard to explain.. bad memory and just dont feel myself..could a faith healer help me?? Hi All,
I only joined this website yesterday and came accross this discussion on Jimmy. A number of years ago my wife had a terrible back injury. After going to every doctor and consultant she could find, the back problem was getting worse. Finally she was advised to have 'Fusion' which is to have a metal bar fused to her spine. She was not aware that this solution can have dire results. By a stroke of luck on the week before her surgery I heard about Jimmy and we headed down to Mountrath. I arrived at 5 in the morning and could not believe that there were 4 cars outside Jimmy's house. I was not so impressed when we went in to the waiting room to find no Certs on the walls or no advise on posture etc..etc... . On the way down to Mountrath my wife was laid accross the back seat of our car and in absolute pain. I had to support her in to the waiting room. At this time there about 10 people sitting around on any seat they could find. About 20 minutes later my wife opened Jimmy's door and walked brisk as you like to me . Everybody in the room stunned and myself more than anybody. I wonder did anybody think this was a set up, I dont think so . To cut this story short we found in Jimmy to be an absolute gentleman. Big of hand and heart and with a superior knowledge of the human body. Jimmy used this skill to help my wife- son and many others in his long career. I wish to thank Jimmy for his fantastic help to our family. If more people used their skills like this the world would be a better place. Joe

I'm almost certain that the root of your wife's back problems was psychological (Most problems with back pains tend to be) Jimmy Conroy is a placebo. This is fine if it helps people but when people deliberately overlook conventional medicine it gets worrying.

I used to think as you do in fact one of my friends is attending a (quack) at present. Usually people who suffer from a psychological illness be it back pain or whatever have not gone through a rigorous medical examination and follow through by a list of specialists. Placebo usually occurs when a patient thinks that the drug or therapy is real and he/she feels much better after delivery. When we went back to our doctor he was aware of Jimmy and his methods. To his credit our doctor admitted that he had run the conventional medicine route and was at a stand still. I learned later from a friend that Jimmy was often called in when the medical route failed. In fact Cappagh Hospital often pointed patients his way. Each case is individual I know but I can only stand over what Jimmy did for our family.
