Hi heading to Kilkenny for a friends 40th on a Sunday Night. Can you recommend a restaurant & bars to visit. Cheap & cheerful and relax for the restaurant and good bars and maybe a nightclub for later. Thanks

Plenty of restaurants to choose from. You after Italian, Chinese, pub grub?
Cafe Sol and Fleva are good all round restaurants. Langtons is good for pub grub. There's 4 good Italian restaurants.

Not been out in Kilkenny on a Sunday night in AGES...But I doubt there will be any niteclub open.

Matt The Millers is supposed to be ok on a Sun night, or Kytlers Inn

Don't drag arguments from another thread into this one.

Do the still have the music as ear-splittingly loud in there as they used to? I've not been out on a weekend night in Kilkenny for a while.

    Well these are my recomendations.

Italian Connection for food OR Ripley's stakehouse!

Then for booze, Lanigans for your average loud music night. OR Morrisons for some rock music and a more laid back atmosphere.
