New Build. No Sound

    Recently built my first rig. Had been using onboard sound but decided to put my Soundblaster X-Fi gamer in to it today. Not a bother, disabled onboard sound in the bios, installed the drivers and hey presto no sound. Anyone any ideas? Using Vista 64.

    it could be something simple like not having ticked the right boxes in playback devices, i've seen masters students in computer science make that mistake and not realise it.

    My bad, SPDIF cable not in properly, sorted now :D
