I need help to set up my satellite in Spain

    Can anyone help with the angle and direction i need to face my dish in Spain (alicante area) so as to pick up british tv channels. I will be using a 2.4m dish.

    you also need a serious meter and a lot of patence. The Dish has to be pointed 14 times more accurately than a Sky Mini dish!

    With that size dish you will be sensitive to satellite inclination so do final elevation tweak at favourite TV watching time as ALL satellites appear to bob up and down slightly twice a day. So called "inclined" orbit "End of Life" satellites have a larger inclination so appear to do this on regular dishes.

    The 4.8m ground station dishes are motorised on elevation to avoid this problem. With a 2.4m dish you may get very poor reception twice a day. By the elevation tweak you can deside when that is.
