Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello all. This is my first post in this forum. I've had an idea for a long time about putting together a book based on the experiences of Irish soldiers serving in different countries and in different wars. I would be interested in the human stories such as why they joined, what they left behind, what they saw abroad and what was Ireland like when they came home. I recently read an article in a magazine where a woman wrote a book based on letters her grandfather wrote to her grandmother while serving in world war 1.
