Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Front Foglights installed afterwards?

    Buying a Passat (08) next week, looking for some info.
    One of the cars I'm looking at has all I want bar fog lights.
    So....Is it possible to get a set fitted? Approx cost?,anyone done it before?

    Foglights are a bit of a touchy subject around here. Maybe ask on vagdrivers?

    ya can buy a kit with lights, switches etc etc. but they have to come from vw main deal could be 500/600 plus fitting. price them first.

    Ebay is the job for it. Iv done its twice now to my mk4 golf its easy enough.

    Front fog lights were made standard on all but the Passat Baseline model from 2008 onwards. Given the choice of used Passats out there would it not be easier and cheaper to just find one with them?

    The Passat I'm looking at on the VW (uk) site is a highline 08, but the photo and description suggests no fog lights.
    Maybe the 08 uk cars didnt have them as standard?
