RE Spray insulation

I was in the local builders supplies today getting an order and was listening to a guy who had just bought 30 cans of spray foam. What he was doing is building an outside office in cavities and the blocklayers from poland were spraying it into the cavities as they were going up each row. I just wondered how effective this…

Well it would remove the main problem with cavity insulation - gaps where heat escapes through. You would have to think that the expanding foam could push out newly laid blocks though.
