Silicon Dielectric Grease

    Anyone know where I could pick up a tube of Silicon Dielectric Grease in Dublin.

    Researching an on going issue with a rough idle on my 2.0 TDi and came across the following thread over at the TDi club. Seemingly if I apply this to the connections on the MAF and MAP sensors(!!??) it could help me solve the problem.

    Grease? I taught it was pcb electric spray that would be used. Can't see how a grease could improve airflow etc in such an area that needs to be free from contaminants.

    Its supposed to be added to the electrical contacts on the MAF, to help with boost control as they can get degraded over time.

    Maplin should have it,they have in Galway anyway.
    It's just called Silicon grease but the same thing.

    Or if you know of a shop that sells Diving gear they'd have it too.
