For those not watching its very much 0-0, Villa had a great chance taken off his foot when bearing down, the overall vibe is SA lively, Spain not exactly busting a gut though the front men are willing. Del Bosque might have few questions to answer if a player gets an injury in this sort of game.

They are worse today, and the commentary is getting a bit overwhelmed at times.

Had to laugh at Torres reaction (head against post) as Riera shot across the bows of the keeper, I'd dont think a cutback would have reached him as it happens.

because he's considered to be one of the best midfielders in the world, more lauded than most of the ones playing but still can't get in the team :P

bbc commentator is annoying me, that wasn't offside, he was onside when ball was hit by a long way. Possibly it could have been given for interfering from other players but saying 'it wasn't even close' and 'clearly offside' means basically that he wasn't paying attention to who actually scored. Why does he think they replayed it twice?

SA can really play some great football when they get going forward, some great passing moves with excellent control and vision. The African game is really coming along very well from when it was just pure athletes.

definately cross imo.

Very unfortunate for SA, really wanted them to get 3rd, would have been a great setup for the world cup. On the balance of play, extra time would probably have been fair enough, harsh to go out on a fairly flukey goal.

i find that stream very stop start for me, very low fps rate, might just be my connection or something.
