Lads am new to sea fishing usually fish just rivers and lakes but was thinking of heading out for a spot of sea fishing North dub area.

have a few questions as regards tackle to use. If fishing from a pier or the rocks what sort of tackle do you use? have heard the mention of feathers for mackerel do you just buy a rig out from a tackle shop and what is involved. do you spin or leave out? basic q's i know but just keen to be using the right gear

    thanks in advance.

feathers will do in the summer for mackeral, you may wont to try using bait in the winter, just go into any tackle shop they are normally willing to help!
