    Hello

    Can anyone tell me how long I takes to get a tax book / change of ownership through?
    I bought a car just over a week ago and I filled in my details on the change of ownership form, the guy was to send it in, I'm just wondering how long it takes to come through?
    Tax is out of date since March, I'm eager to get the thing fully road legal.

    I ran the car through cartell.ie before buying and everything is legit.

    2 weeks ish. Check on www.motortax.ie to see whether they've processed the transfer of ownership.
