    hi guys,

bought this last night, and when I came home I couldnt believe what I was reading on the instruction leaflet,

you put it on a minute before you go into the shower, which is fine.

but then you need to go into the shower, be in there for two minutes 'without letting direct water onto your legs' now can anyone tell me how to take a shower for two minutes keeping water off your legs,

I think its completely false advertising and Im thinking of reporting it to the advertising authority

    does anyone agree with me?

I think that by 'direct water' they mean water aimed at your legs for the purpose of removing the cream. Water flowing down as a result of the shower would be OK.

Would anyone else see it that way?

Agree with your interpertation Dudara but for the life of me I can't figure out why flowing water is OK but directed water is not.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Let me know if it works - is it just for legs or is there one for bikini line too? I was looking @ them today - the bikini line one says not suitable for genital area - so does it really just mean the actual bikini line or could you do it mostly all over??

The shower one is actually hard enough to get off. Its really thick, you nearly have to use the a cloth to get it off but it works great.

Normal veet is fine but I found the in shower stuff to be dreadful. It fell off in the shower, even though the water wasnt "directed" at my legs.

have to agree with you there Nightwish. I just stay with the regular version now and wait a few minutes before i get into the shower. still beats everything else .

I find the shower one really good, I just wait a minute or two longer than it says before getting into the shower, and wash it off as soon as I get in.

thanks for the tip girls....wont bother with that stuff now

my sister has recently bought a laser hair removal thing thats supposed to be permanent...its supposed to burn the root of the hair, supposed to get lighter each week and by 8-10 weeks, hairs removed permanently

    im skeptical.....

    has anyone else tried this?

A word of warning for the shower stuff though - it strips any fake tan you might have on your legs right off. I was going to a wedding one time and got a spray tan and then morning of the wedding, hopping in the shower, veet on the legs, scrubbed away and then got to work. I had a ton of nonsense in my hair as well and probably the remains of a face mask on so the colour of my legs I didnt notice until I got out of the shower and saw lovely brown thighs and snow white knees and below.

The next hour was alot of fun.

yep, will only work on dark hair , and get ready girl for the zap when you find your target with the lazer ....then the smell of burning hair. takes several "goes" cos of your growth cycle.read all the instructions carefully. and stay the feck away from your eyebrows or end up blind !!!!!

veet stuff was crap ... as for laser hair removal, its supposed to be good but be careful because apparently if you have children after you could have regrowth from hormones etc, friend of mine is qualified laser therapist and she did her own when she had her first baby hairs came back, disaster as its expensive!

I tried the veet shower cream, followed all the instructions and the minute I got into the shower it dissappeared immediately. I was really annoyed as it was clearly false advertising.

The only thing I can think of is maybe they expect you to use the whole tube at once and make a really thick layer. If so, this would work out very expensive. I used about the same amount as I would use the normal veet (which usually works fine).

By the way, I've also used the Boots own brand hair removal cream and I found no difference between it and the Veet brand so I normally go for this one now as it's cheaper and just as effective.

(I leave it on ages longer than what the directions say though as i find it doesn't work otherwise)

its crap tupins really bad, I was really mad expecting someone to go into the shower and not get water on their legs! comical
