New Bosch 18V Drill

Friend after purchasing an 18V Bosch drill - it says to charge it and then let it go dead at least 5 times before it is at its best. It also says on the manual that charging takes 3 hours, my question is is it bad for the battery if you leave the battery on the charger longer than the 3 hours (say 6hours or overnight)

no, the chargers these days stop charging once the battery is full
you should be ok there.
