    it was 1 for .8 which is a margin of .2 this does equate to a mark up of .25. I think its made quiet clear in the OP that I was charging .2 in the $ not on the $.


    I remember studying management accounting and some people had a really hard time differentiating getting there head around margin/markup and your often asked in exam questions calculate the margin or markup. But tbh I thought the way I posted the OP, 1 for .8 was transparent. It was certainly meant to be.
