Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thought i'd post the below link about a picture that has surfaced of 'Tank Man', the famed protester of Tiananmen Square. It gives a unique and different view of an historic event that took place in my lifetime. Obviously the more famous picture of the incident taken from above is ingrained on a lot of peoples memory, but seeing it from a completely different viewpoint makes it even more realistic and scary. I'll let the link tell the story, but its amazing to think it remained buried for so long.

that's brilliant. so wonderful seeing it from that perspective. i think with the four other famous shots taken from the beijing hotel (as amazing as they are) there was always a sense that the viewer was removed from what was going on. this is different; it's very immediate and there is a sense of urgency.

the other four shots are very 'still'. this isn't....there's a hurricane going on around him and even though he isn't centred in it, TM is kind of like the quietness at the centre of a storm. great shot. glad it's been published.
