This may seem like a stupid Q, but what is the measurement for the cavity closer under the wall plate? (under the roof)

heat loss=u value x difference in temp x area

once you have this you can work everything else out.

    Right so:

    Were looking at :

Q1 Something along the lines of a roof/window detail?
(i personally think they could be sneaky and put the roof as a lean-to)

a question on site saftey (usually question 2)

    The glorious U-Value Question

    what else?

other drawing? well the chimney and stairs came up last year so what else apart from roofs is there?foundation question (imagine:D:D)

Id also say the indirect hot water system is bound to come up aswell..

    Any other thoughts?

Sustainable living, i have a feeling of applying for planning permission, renovation, light and sound have a good chance of coming up aswel.

And u-values is nearly dead cert as energy rating houses is getting more attention in the media and the housing market.

I would think they would at all costs avoid the recession as all of us could write a 5page essay on it.

    Heres for foundations :P(yn)

i doubt stuff about unemployment would come up . . some people's relative could have lost their jobs you know ? not fair really to ask questions that personal .

what about a question on rendering and finishes ? and accessibility for wheelchair users ?
for Q1 id say the roof . perhaps a flat roof if they are being mean

lean to is the same as a normal roof, it just has another normal wall!
