Hi guys I live south of galway and am currently receiving very slow eircom broadband. I was wondering about smart telecom as they seem fast, cheap and reliable. How do they operate as they say they don't have a contention ratio? Do they operate via a normal phone line ie. would I be able to get it just like eircom? Thanks for any advice contributed.

Normal phone line, but you need to live in an area covered by one of their unbundled exchanges

No contention, No DL limit. I think they have a pretty good rep here on boards.

Give us your router "line stats" Tom , it may be pointless changing provider ....save for the price.
