Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    that's like 35m pounds

For around 30mil pounds it seems. Means they have the guts of 130mil left in the kitty.

So that's Madrid's attacking players bought. The question now is who are they going to get in the rest of the squad, or will they be very very very very very stupid?

Not surprised he went, but shocked at how swiftly the deal was made.

I heard it aswell, they were quoting a "fairly reliable source" i.e. the Spanish newspaper Marca. The fee they said was in the "€40m range"..so take what you want from that..

The selling point for United I'd say would be his position in the squad is guaranteed. At Barca, it's not so much.

Then again, Barca has the weather :)

That's gas that you have to compute it into pounds before it makes sense to you despite the Euro being our currency

I think that the signing of Villa is a good thing for Real , will put pressure on Pelligrini though to find a place for Raul in the team , They will surely get rid of Van der Vaart and Van Nisterlrooy now , Huntelaar must be feeling shaky too

Van Nist must be leaving. No way Ronaldo will play at the same club as him I'd say.

**** me, a front attack of Ronaldo, David Villa and Kaka, with Van Der Vaart, Sneijder, Raul, Higuain and Huntelaar still left at their disposal. Oh, and Robben.

I like Hunter. He takes no **** from anyone, that argument with the Chelsea bloke for example.

    WTF?

I've just read it's €50m + Negredo in exchange for David Villa and Raul Albiol?

Its been on SSN a couple of times today alright.

EDIT: Albiol would be a surprising addition for Real, in that he is a defensive player. Would make sense if they can get him though - they certainly have enough attacking options now!!

Hmm I thought part of Heinze's signing was his close friendship with Ronnie. Though he would be kept to help him settle.

According to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser tonight, Valencia have turned down the bid for Villa, and now Madrid have started negotiations with Atlético and Lyon for Forlan and Benzema.

Really hope this isn't true. Villa is currently the best in the business.

Jesus, Madrid are going to be the new 'banned' team when I play PES with the lads.

Oh btw, Alonso, Garcia and Aurelio.
