my sf3 game has nose dived recently, even so I wont be able to play it if your talkin about the xbox version.

Launchers and super jumps cause slowdown. It can get really bad on some stages.

You could always offer to pay the 2.50 an hour for the laptop as well as the xboxes, as I think Azza suggested in another thread.
