    updates to games are in the cache which is on the Hdd

    It looks like I won't be going this week either(about 10% at the moment)I will definitely be there next week though. Plus I will try/be able to rally some troops to go. I can't get off work tomorrow but I'll be in town and may poke the head in.....

    BTW is there anywhere that sells xbox madcatz pads in dublin as I need a PCB from one for my stick?

    I think chopper told me that he got his in Argos if I recall correctly. Must be cheap I'd say 20 quid. Or you can wait for some "shooting" game that nobody knows about called modern warfare or something... I hear madcatz Are doing a controller for that and will work on all consoles so you MIGHT have a universal controller as a converter?

    Those modern warfare controllers are different for each console, the 360 one wont work on ps3.

    You'd be best off buying an official wired controller on ebay for about €18.

    The madcatz pad was €29.99 in Argos.

    EDIT: Not going to be able to make it today :(

    And after the trouncing Xinkai gave me in HF, I demand the old-school players come sort him out next week! I'll even provide my Saulabi ( which is prob very closest to old-school sticks outside Happ)

    If that happens its just a coincidence.

    At worst, its a stresser that put it over the edge, ROD is a hardware failure.

    No but one did come very close during SFIV. Crashed twice on HMUYA and DarkTalant so we swapped out and got another xbox which was fine.
