Sunday would seem like it would be worse for turnout considering how many people seem to sleep in on a Saturday (3pm - what the hell!

). And then consider the Irish social scene. In saying that, I believe I am off this weekend so may show up just to put names to faces, allow retr0gamer to pick up a win and spam promotion about the place!

No, Sunday it is - other people can organise to go on Saturday if they like but we already have 8 people or so who've agreed to go on Sunday and who it's more convenient for on that day.

This Sunday, Xtreme Gaming Centre Liffey St, 2pmish meet time.

Seems to be at least 8 of us confirmed so far, more may show up though.

Me and one of the guys will most likely be there from around 1:30. We'll do the same as last time and get the 2 Xbox's then get an extra box based on numbers appearing etc.

Yep, last time I think 4 of us brought in copies of Anniversary Collection, and there are usually a few people up for a session of 3s and/or ST.

Actually I'm gonna make a bizarre request.

IF ANYONE HAS A FAN AND WOULDN'T MIND CARRYING IT, WOULD THEY BE AS KIND TO BRING IT TO XGC?

The reason I ask is because the place is a heating nightmare. You will sweat, and it will be messy.

Sometimes they put on the AC and its much cooler. Its like a sauna when its off though.

I think that was broken or something too as I went down and asked if they could turn it on and they apologised and said no (last week).

The last meetup before the last tourny the lad downstairs came up to check something and said to me "Is the AC not on up here? I'm really sorry, I'll turn it on now". But then at the actual tourny a different guy was asked several times to turn it on and he never did.

So don't know if its broken or just depends on who's on the desk *shrug*

It costs money to turn on. Thats probably why its off all the time. Which is reasonable. But if not being able to open a window is the rule, then they need it on tbh. 25 people up there causes some amount of sweat.
