    Its not Poole. It is a goalkeeper though. He played his first game in 1945.

    The oldest footballer was something I read a while ago - I think he's in the Guinness Book of Records. 87 I think, Brazillian, playing for some Brazillian club - full back I think.

    A GK making a comeback after 46 years is Grosics Gyula I believe, former Hungarian, played for a minute or two against Sheffield United I think last year.

    Tércio Mariano de Rezende, regularly plays in the regional Championship as right wing for Goiandira Esporte Clube in Goiandira, Goiás, Brazil.
