Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VW passat Estate

    Hi All

    I am looking for a car for work and was looking at a 2002 VW 1.9 TDi estate. It has leather, climate , cruise, 6 cd etc. It has 36k on the clock and the seller is looking for 5,500 stg.
    I am not usually a VW man but I like this. I dont know if thats good value or not. Any opinions on value and the car in general.

    Looks like a clean car but only 36k ,i would be very skeptical. Is there full s/h to back this up?
    Even if it is true is is still not exactly a bargain.
    and timing belt would still need doing due to age.

    Me too, i'd call the garages who stamped the book to make sure that it all adds up. Even at that, it looks expensive compared to the likes of this: http://www.autoquake.com/vehicle/inspid=12515
