I noticed a sign in the window last night saying 'Re-opening August - Employment Opportunities Available' and an email address to forward CV's to. I was in a bit of a rush this morning, so I didn't manage to get the email address - I'll post it later. I'm new to the area, but I can't believe a shop when out of business in that location - it seems perfect.

    Do/did they have an off-licence? :)

The email address is sevendays.dunl at gmail dot com.

Might be worth forwarding a CV if you're out of work. :)

yeah, i think that's corrig road actually but know the one you mean

They did sell alcohol and coffee, hot food and pretty much everything else you need and they were open late. Hopefully this new place will keep it going. Anyone ever heard of a chain called Seven Days? Hope it's a convenience store and not a scientology personality test centre!!!

Ah right, my mistake. It's a run down Spar shop near Clarinda Park, I assumed this was Corrig Stores. It will make life much easier for me anyway. :P

I haven't heard of Seven Days myself - they're definetely not a nationwide chain.

That shop used to be Corrig Stores. It's one and the same and is still refered locally as Corrig Stores. (Well it was when it was open anyway!).

Went by last night, seems like almost all the stock is in so only a matter of days I'd say. Dead handy for me, lets hop they're cheaper then Spar and the likes!

They're open this morning. Bought a few bits and pieces - seems to be reasonable enough. Staff are only getting to grips with using the till etc. so be patient. Looks like it well stocked! Massive pain in the arse out of the way for me. :)

Like the new colour scheme, is it a franchise or independent? .

Yeah, 'XL' have stores all over the country, north and south. Looks well.

They have no off licence - what's with that?
