Best Broadband in Ranelagh?

    I've recently moved to Ranelagh and want braodband connection. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

    Best for cost or quality of service and speed??

    Cost: one of the mobile internet yokes, though they're not good enough to be called real broadband. Clearwire and Ripwave seem to be worse again.

    Best quality and speed is probably through magnet, but that needs a phoneline. As obviously does eircom and the eircom resellers (BT, UTV etc) who also do decent reliability broadband, but slower.

    Digiweb metro seems to be okay and cheaper than most of the phoneline options, as well as having a phone capability. It's wireless but coverage seems to be variable in ranelagh.

    Not sure about Irish Broadband (also wireless). Quality seems ok as of my latest info.

    There's your choices! In a few months, UPC will have broadband in Ranelagh also.
