I'm planning to walk the New York Marathon on Nov 1st and wonder if anyone is interested in meeting up for training sessions. I live in Co. Meath but close to Drogheda. Walked the Dublin Marathon in '07 and '08, taking just over 6 hours. I have an 18 week training schedule but find it difficult to motivate myself to "just do it!" The timing would also suit anyone doing the Dublin City Marathon.

as far as im aware the new york marathon isnt a come one come all event.you need to be affiliated with a running club i think.
just look into it i remember a work mate of mine who ran in it a few times and i think that was the case.

    i could be mistaken though
