This will sound really patronising but you asked so mine would be .. . . .

If you ever win a lot of money in a casino do not go back the following week. Your drunken system was pure fluke.

Do not watch too much tv & do get into the habit of reading books.

If you are hitchhiking anywhere wear a seatbelt.

Don't get bent out of shape over relationship stuff - you're too young so enjoy the moment.

Try to learn how to think for yourself & take everything in the media with a pinch of salt. Travel, see the world while being aware of your surroundings and all that good stuff

I think the main thing would be to have inner confidence in yourself.

get on to betfair in 1999 with 5 mins to go in the champions leauge final and put 1000 euro on man utd at 1000 to one to win the game in normal time. Wait a few years till liverpool are playing ac milan in the champions leauge final and at half time get on bet fair and put 10,000 euro on liverpool to win the game at 10,000 to one. Spend the money on things you love.

I would say keep her lit! Don't think you have to stick to your "dreams" or the plan... if you hate your course quit, if you hate your OH split, if you hate the new town move home. Don't be afraid to say you made a mistake or something wasn't for you. Good luck!!

Once, just one in a while, don't drink at the weekend and go to bed early and get up early. The weekend is much longer when you do this!

at 19 i moved to nz.

i think the only advice i could give the me then, is not to worry, you'll settle in, and don't worry about having to wear a wetsuit, just start surfing now.

(i still regret having been in the country for almost 4months before i started. so much wasted time).
