I'm guessing most will say adulthood but it'd just be interesting to see how it breaks down.

And why do you prefer it?

I'd imagine people who are up to their eyeballs in debt will say they'd prefer to be 6 again, hopping off a bag of meanies.

If you're doing ok in life and having regular kinky sex, then I think adulthood will shade it.

Definitely childhood no contest, well up until i was 15 at least when i found out far too many family secrets for my liking, had to start work and basically realised my parents werent the best thing since sliced bread and either was the world :o

Oh to be back in playschool...

Childhood because i used to be able to throw one off after some shoulder boob action, now i stay up all night running up huge credit card bills to satisfy my freaky urges

I'm still relatively young (20) so eh...... childhood...... only for the fact that I don't consider myself an adult.

Doesn't surprise me. You're a pimpdaddy game award mod on an internet forum. :)

    I'm even a little turned on. :D

Being an adult is far, far better.

    Reasons:

    Sex
    Choosing your own food
    Understanding better jokes
    Money
    Cool hobbies
Golf (not a cool hobby, but a fun one)
    Cars
    Porn
    Sex
    Sex
    Wimmin
Don't have to live with your parents
    Friends
    Cider
    Beer
    Champange
    Various drugs
    Proper books
    Science
    Relationships
    Gadgets
    ...etc

    Adulthood.

Nobody tries to fill your head with complete sh*te that you believe for years like rats coming out of the toilet at night time.
Mammies don't make you wear awful floral print dresses that must have been curtains in a former life :(

    Primary school years.

When you're young you're just a big bag of potential, as you grow older that potential needs to turn into something. You also start to question your purpose in life, what even makes you happy?

Childrens' moods vary drastically, being grounded is the end of the world, running around the street pretending you're Batman is the pinacle of entertainment, highs and lows.

As an adult, you don't get the same variance, things are more evened out, but on average, life isn't as good. There's no magic, superheroes aren't real and animals don't talk, but all the crap in the world still exists, and you realise you'll see everyone you know and love die, if you don't die before them.

    On the other hand... BOOBIES!

Late teens early twenties, experimentation with eager college girls! Financial freedom, driving a car with an engine bigger than your ubiquitous Micra 1.0l! like every other sap.

Childhood is the best. I spose it all depends on whats the most important to you. If you value flash cars, big house, foreign hols etc etc, your goin to prefer adulthood, but Im the anthisis (spelling) of all that. The freedom of no debts, morgages, responsibilites or worries of any kind would be great. I remember my summers dossing around, playing football and computer games, and Id love to go back to those days. The old thing of them being "the best days of your life" couldnt be truer.

Watching bluers with the door wide open is a good argument for being an adult.

Having not attended a Christian Brothers school as a kid, I get a lot more sex as an adult. So I'll go with adulthood.

If we are using Vice Versa rules I would prefer to be Fred Savage than Judge Reinhold i.e. being a kid who is allowed drink Martini

We're all M&Ms! Children inside with an adult candy coating.

I hated being a kid, I was years ahead in my mind. Didn't really get the point of most of the games kids played. But I was always out with the lads playing football, rounders etc. and was always on for man-hunt ;)

As an adult its a pain being fully responsible for your finances, you didnt have to consider these things as a kid. but on the plus side, there is wine, beer, alco-pops, getting aroused over Torres fine performances tonight, and my car :pac:

    Childhood please.

Ya know at the time all the "adults" used to say to enjoy them as "they were the best days of your life"

    They were bang on!!

    Adulthood.

    Sex.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 844 ✭✭✭allabouteve

    Adulthood.

The ability to do as you please without explanation or excuse, to be in charge of your own life, to be really free.

Then again if I'd a happier childhood than the one I had, I might have different feelings.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,194 ✭✭✭osnola ibax

Find your inner child and you can have both, otherwise have a child and provider you don't get too freaked out when you know exactly what time of the day peppa pig is on nick jr., 5:30 and 8:30, and it's like being a child again

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,054 ✭✭✭Carsinian Thau

    I'm going to say "Adulthood".

A lot of that is based upon the fact that I can't really remember my childhood. Perhaps I ought to be worried by that?
