    Copper tape around a pot planted hosta or a copper ring for a border plant.

    There are a couple of slug threads here and here

    The wife used to got out at night with a headlamp and pick off the slugs! Worked a bit but was very messy and time consuming.

    This year we got some Iron Phosphate pellets for Christmas for the Sister-in-law in the US.
    Worked very well. Approved for Organic use as well.
