I quite like girls who are short (I prefer to use the word petite though; sounds nicer than short!) I'm around 5'9 so I'm not really that tall. Tbh I'd feel a bit awkward going out with a girl taller than me.

I'm 5'7, and have always felt tall amongst girls. I'm a sucker for a tall boy, though. Ideally, tall enough for me to have to look up. And, I'm also generally not attracted to men who are shorter, or close to the same height as me.

I love smaller girls, is it just me or do they tend to be more fun than the tall ones? But yeah, tall or small, aslong as they've got a nice body (doesn't have to be perfect), a great personality (yeah, tis important that ye're not bitchy to us, ladies), a nice face, and for some reason, I love good hair. But height defo isn't up in the list of top criteria.

I don't think short girls are necessarily more fun than tall girls... I do think short girls get away with far more though, because we're 'cute'.

I don't think I could go out with someone the same height/shorter than me, but being 5'3'' means it's not really usually a problem.

As for going out with taller guys, I've never had problems. One of my exes was 6'3'', and while we probably looked a tad ridiculous together, it was never really actually a problem...

Prefer smaller girls to be honest... Im 6'1" Was out with a girl who was the same height as me once... something wrong when a girl is able to stare you straight in the eyes when shes leaning in for the kiss... Arrggghh... Ever since then ive made it a point to go out with ladies of a lesser height!

Height is more of an issue with girls between girls in my opinion.

The only thing about shorter girls is they tend to have more attention by guys. If you think about it, most fellas will say they wouldnt go out with a girl taller than em (makes em feel less dominent) so wouldnt it make sense that the shorter you are the more attention you would attract. Within reason obv.

Im 6-3 and was goin out with a girl a foot shorter than me. Took a little gettin used to and was a touch challengin to hold hands! XD But she was the cutest thing ever and made me feel lyk i could really protect her

The eyes are like a south park characters when closed (in concentration or for ... other reasons) and the mouth is just a standard big smile =D XD

I can see the attraction to shorter girls, but I'd say same height is great for hugging, kissing, etc. without straining your neck or... other things...

Same here! I usually live in converse during the day and find it impossible to find nice flat shoes for going out, so I ALWAYS end up wearing heels.

I'd love to be shorter; personally, I hate the attention drawn to my height when I go out at night!

Getting clothes is a b*tch as well, I usually have to buy long tops/short dresses to wear as regualr tops, and dresses that'd be past my friends knees would barely cover my arse!

I'm close enough to 6 foot, and my girlfriend is around 5 foot 6 or 7, and I think it's perfect. Hugging is Way better that way!

Good to see a short girl following among the guys, always thought most prefered tall girls with long legs. Think I'm the shortest to post so far 5'0", can't buy trousers without taking them up so mostly end up wearing skirts all the time.

One thing is annoying when your talking to a tall guy in a pub/club and there's music and they don't bend down a little so you don't have to shout (not a prob for them as their voices are deeper and carry better in the noise)

i'm 5'2, when i was younger, like 15/16 i always wished i was taller but now i am totally comfortable with my height.. i never bother with heels, on the rare occassion i might wear them out but its always a small heel, comfort comes first lol

Anyways i find in majority guys find short girls cute..

Actually now that I think about it, I knew a girl in my school last year who was at least 5 inches taller than me!Which would put her at about 6'3.
She always went out with guys way shorter than her, probably because she couldn't find anybody taller!

i'm 5'2 and hate it at times! All of my lad mates are around 5'9 or taller and are always teasing me about my height. i have been picked up and stolen many many times:P

Saying that it does have its advantages.. people take pity on you at concerts and let you infront of them so thats always good

Definately not, it depends on what you like though to be faiir. I know of small girls who keep mentioning they're small, so that can get pretty annoying.

But tbh, I'd say lads prefer girls smaller then them that taller.

I'm 5ft 5 and a half, and I reckon I'm bang on average height for a girl. As for the opposite sex I don't really care too much but someone smaller than me might be a bit weird! Hasn't happened yet anyway. Was with someone around 6ft before and it was a bit of a stretch! I didn't mind though, sure it's only a little thing in the grand scheme of things
