Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Canon SX10 IS - wildlife for beginners

    Bought a SX10IS recently. Worth considering for those interested in beginner photos of wildlife but not sure about splashing out on DSLR + lens. Lots of features, still haven't got through the manual yet. Note ~EUR 55 rebate from Canon website at the moment for purchases in ROI.

    1st shots I took below - bog standard auto mode - just to show wide angle / max optical zoom (20x) / max optical zoom (80x) for this bridge camera. Pics resized/compressed using Microsoft Image Resizer Powertoy, but original wasn't in focus either :).

    If you are thinking of a bridge camera the Panasonic Lumix range looks interesting too.
