No chance? I disagree. We avoided some very tough groups but avoided some very easy groups. I think we hit in between.

Remember top 2 automatically go through, finishing third means either automatic qualification (depending on points) or qualifiers.

Scotland/Poland/Georgia will be tough enough but not as tough as many other groups. Ireland has a decent enough chance of atleast third.

This has been weighing me down all season, but I have something to admit to you all.... knowing full well that my history of betting on Spurs is a curse, for the first time in my life I backed a Spurs player to be top goalscorer from the start of the season.

I put a tenner on Soldado at 18/1.

I regret my decision and I whole heartedly apologise to the fan base.

In a very weak attempt to raise the curse, I now vow to donate all winnings from this bet to charity (obviously the chances are slim). Though, if it does come in, I will also match the winnings with my own private donation to charity.

Plus, I will never make such a selfish bet ever again!

Its starting to look more and more like the team to finish fourth will be arsenal rather than Liverpool and while it is somewhat enjoyable to see their EPL title challenge fall apart (not really), but it will be no comfort when they finish one place ahead of us.
