    Damn those Brits hahaha...

i'm just a tiny bit wary re the optical d-pad thingy...though it got pretty good reviews, somehow it seems 'wrong' in such a sturdy, no-bs handset!?!?
    It can be switched off.

And in stock on Nokia.co.uk :D

Now I just have to decide between this, the N900, waiting for the X10 or waiting for whatever Android phone HTC comes out with next :p

It's available as of today from Vodafone in the UK - apparently exclusive until the end of the year.

Wonder what our very own Vf will do? Can't see them release this while they still have E71s on the shelves?!?!

Damn...so many hotties out between now and February. I should take up stamp-collecting or trainspotting

How does it compare with the E71?

Better, faster, stronger,I think-though I've only just sold my n97-I've only ever borrowed the e71.
Only really getting a feel for it.
I far far prefer it to the n97.
    I like the torch!

I like it when the torch is the stand-out feature in a phone LOL

    Nah, seriously, e71 rocks...can't wait for e72 - though I have a Maglite ;)

A torch is more useful than a lot of the junk they put on phones.

    Hey Black Briar,
What were you using before ?
How's the FM radio reception ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,442 ✭✭✭jamesd

Am I correct in saying that the e72 will not connect to exchange 2003 with its preinstalled version of mail for exchange? So you would need to change the software you use to access you exchange mail.

    An n97.
    I grew to hate it.
    FM is fine.
I love the optical scroller and the camera quality *seems* better.

I think im going to have to bite the bullet an buy one of these. Couple of the guys at work have iphone, Blackberry 8520 and nokia e63 and this seems to have all the features of these 3 that i want.

Any reports on durability i tend to be quite hard on phones about 6 months is my butt with any phone i ever had.

it doesn't feel as sturdy as the e71 or the older indestructible e61, but I'd say it'll take a lot to really harm it. just leave the screen protector on...I learned my lesson with the e71 ;)
