Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help with Digital Camera under €150

Hi, I am looking to get a compact digital camera to take with me when I go on holidays this year, but I am finding it hard to pick one.
I'm looking for one with decent MP's (nothing extreme, 7 or 8MPs would be enough), takes good, clear pictures, and has a decent battery life.
I was looking at the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S930, to me it looks decent, but has anyone ever had it? And if so could they give me their opinion of it please (I have looked for reviews, but couldn't find any good ones online).
So if anyone has or knows of any good cameras for under €150 could they please tell me, I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance,
    Patrick

Any Sony Cybershot camera would do the job your looking for, very reliable cameras too.

Thanks Tallon, I ended up going for the Sony DSC-W220, €190(a wee bit more than I planned on spending, but I'm glad I did).
One thing I was wondering though, in the coming weeks I will be away camping, and at music festivals, so I probably won't be near a plug socket to charge my camera. Is there any battery chargers available to charge the camera battery(such as the battery packs to recharge mobiles/iPods), becuase I don't fancy spending £30-40 on a spare battery, or buying a dodgy battery off eBay.
    Thanks again

Nothing wrong with cheap batterys off e-bay. my a200 uses a $5 one when the genuine one is flat. It takes about 30 photos less then the origional

Oh, I was just always afraid of eBay batteries having different(higher) voltages, and messing up the camera.
I possibly will buy a spare battery from eBay then.
Thanks everyone for all the replies
